Community Transport

Provides door to door services to enable people to access shops, libraries and health services as well as leisure.

Who is it for?

Community Transport is for :-

• People who are not served by conventional public transport or who are unable to use it
• Individuals or groups of people with similar transport needs
• Able bodied people, as well as those with limited mobility and wheelchair users

How does it work?

• Services are operated mainly by experienced volunteers who give their time freely to help others in the community.
• Journeys are booked in advance.
• A charge is made to help towards the cost.
